Carving Up Some Pumpkins

It's that time of year again.  The extended family came over to carve pumpkins.  Jayvan wasn't too interested in the pumpkins, but Lexi actually got her hands dirty this year.  I think that's a first.

The kids were getting a little antsy, so Sandy and I took them for a walk.  It was gorgeous outside.

Here are some of the finished products.  I didn't get a picture of Jade's before she left.  Everyone did a great job.
Matt did The Walking Dead this year.

Picking Pumpkins

We didn't make it out to a pumpkin patch this year, so we decided to go buy some pumpkins from a local church that sells pumpkins as a fundraiser for missions.

Jayvan even managed to find a football.

Halloween Playdate

Our friend Amber threw a toddler Halloween playdate and they so graciously welcome Lexi in with the toddler crowd.  My friends put me to shame when it comes to party planning.  She has ghost balloons, pumpkins to decorate, and lots of Halloween-themed snacks. The kids had a blast.

Ciderfest 2012

It's a family tradition to go out to Ciderfest in my hometown.  Lexi always loves it and this year, Jayvan got to have his first cider donut.  I think it's safe to say that he enjoyed it.

Hoe Down

Lexi's school had a Fall Hoe Down.  It was so much fun.
