Happy Memorial Day

Matt smoked a bunch of meat and veggies, but this required multiple umbrellas thanks to an all-morning rain storm.  Jayvan was sad that he couldn't help with the grilling.

 The kids were so excited when Aunt Ashley arrived.

 The food was great and so was the company.

 It was also Aunt Audrey's birthday, so we had some cake to celebrate.

Mia's Birthday Party

Mia had a Spongebob pool party at Nana's house.  It was a little chilly for me to brave the pool, but some others were braver.

I think she had a great birthday!

Bachelorette Party

Ashley is getting married in a week and we decided to have a ladies night to celebrate.  We ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant.  Then we went back to Mom's to watch a movie and open some gifts.  There are more pictures, but they won't make it to the internet. 

Field Day 2013

I took off work so I could volunteer at Lexi's field day.  I helped with the obstacle course.  It was so fun watching these kids run all morning.  

 I love this girl!

Mia is Four!

Mia's Birthday fell in the middle of the week, but Audrey & Mia were able to stop by so we could see the Birthday girl on her big day.  These cousins have the same relationship that I had with my cousins growing up.  They love each other dearly . . . until they don't.  But mostly they love each other.

Happy Early Birthday

Lexi's teacher selected dates for all of the Summer Birthday kids to bring in treats for their birthdays.  Today was Lexi's day.  She chose ice cream as her treat and the kids got to watch a movie while they had their treat.

The kids all sang Happy Birthday to Lexi with some added "cha cha cha's."  I'm going to miss Lexi's teacher next year, but I'm sure she will have a great second grade teacher as well.
