The Nutcracker

I was able to go as a chaperone for Lexi's field trip to The Kauffman Preforming Arts Center to see The Nutcracker.  The kids all dressed up and we had a great time.  I can't wait to go back.

Gingerbread Houses

Lexi had a friend over after school and we decided to break out the gingerbread house kit.  The kids may have eaten more than their fair share of candy, but the houses turned out adorable in my opinion.

Toddler Christmas Party

My friend Rachel hosted another amazing Christmas party for the kids.  

This is Jayvan's face when he spotted Santa.

 He immediately hugged him.

 Lexi got to be a special Santa helper again. She loved it.

The kids (and adults) had a fabulous time.

KCAP Ornament Swap

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is an annual ornament swap with a group of my friends. We all meet up at a local church and swap. I am usually in two groups, but I always fin myself wishing that I had all of the ornaments.  So, this year, I bit the bullet and joined all seven groups. Here are the seven ornaments that I made: 

I came away with all of these goodies. I've got some crafty friends.
