2013 Garden

We had a day of warm weather in between rain and snow, so I decided to plant the garden.  I took the kids out to Suburban Lawn & Garden to get all of the plants and seeds.  The kids both wanted to help. One was a better helper than the other.  I'm sure you can guess which child that was.

This kid loves some dirt.

 Lexi planted Alyssum seeds in the deck planters.

 The garden has strawberries, one artichoke plant, pumpkins, cantaloupe, watermelon, peppers, zucchini, carrots, round carrots, kale, spinach, tomatoes, and cilantro.

 My best helper.  Notice that she has dirt on her face too.

 We planted some wheatgrass in this pot.  I have a bunch of herbs in pots in the kitchen.
