First Tooth!
Jayvan's first tooth cut through his gums tonight. He won't let me get a picture just yet, but it's definitely there. It's the lower left incisor.

Christmas Eve
It started with bath time. Jayvan loves his ducky tub.
We got ready for church and went to the 1:00 candlelight service.
Afterward, we had the family over for a Christmas Eve taco bar.
The kids loved opening all of their gifts, and Jayvan loved the paper most of all.
Lexi had no problems falling asleep in anticipation for the excitement of Christmas morning.

I absolutely love the candlelight service. I love the magic of the lights filling the room and the silence and feeling of the Spirit surrounding us.

Cookie Baking Day
Cookie Baking Day 2011 was a huge success yet again. This years cast of characters was Mom, Audrey, Mia, Lexi, Ashley, Jessie, Aiden, Abi (my cousin Shawn's girlfriend), and me. Matt stuck around to be the taste tester as usual.
Here are some of the goodies.

Christmas in the Park
We borrowed Papa Bo's suburban and loaded up the family to go admire the lights. We picked up a little Chick-Fil-A on the way to Longview Lake. Lexi said the entrance lights were her favorite and then she proceeded to change her "favorite" several times.
Kindergarten Winter Party
Lexi's class had their Winter Party and I volunteered to organize a game. We did a marshmallow relay. The kids also played pin-the-tail on Rudolph, made some ornament crafts, and had some snacks. Daddy, Nana, and Aunt Ashley also came to the party and surprised Lexi.

Our Street
It seems that each year we get more people on our street lighting up their trees and houses. We love it.
Caroling With the Daises
Lexi's Daisy troop went to a local retirement village to sing carols to the residents. The girls were so excited and they sounded wonderful

First time in the exersaucer
He looks unsure in these pictures, but he really likes it. I'm not sure he's crazy about that reindeer head gear though.
