Arts for Kids at the Arboretum

I've taken Lexi for several years now, but this was Jayvan's first year to join in the fun.  It is such a great event and Lexi never wants to miss it.  This year Aunt Sarah, Zac, and Jade also came. 

Progress Report

This is the only report card that I've seen all D's and known that it was a good thing.

Scrapbook Pages

Lexi's class is making a class scrabpook to learn more about everyone.  I am NOT a scrapbooker, but we did our best to portray Lexi's life.  She loves it and that's all that matters.

Chuck-E-Cheese

Aiden had his sixth birthday, so we all went to celebrate.

While I didn't get a picture of it, the best present was Aiden's new shirt that read "Big Brother, April 2013."

In this episode of "Stuff Jayvan Broke"

We have:

1.  A hula hoop.

 2.  A bag clip.  This is not a first on the bag clips.

 3.  A book.

I couldn't tell you

Lexi asked, "Why does Jayvan have a scratch on his hand?"

I replied, "I couldn't tell you Lex."

Lexi replies in a serious tone, "Mom, just tell me."

I forget how literal my kid can be.

Branson Vacation

We decided to take a quick trip to Branson over Labor Day weekend.  The kids had a blast and the adults did too. 

 Jayvan wasn't so sure about being on a moving bus (the Silver Dollar City shuttle) without being in his carseat.

 Lexi decided that she was a brave big kid this year and rode just about every ride that she could.  She measure in at 47 inches, so there were some rides she still couldn't do.

 Jayvan loved the ball area the most I think.

 Lexi got to make a build-a-bear.

 We stayed at Still Waters Resort and had a great time.  Lexi loved the slide.

 We all loved the water.

 We stayed right across the street from the playground.

 Lexi now wants a tire swing.
