Lexi is 8!

Eight years of being this girls mama! It feels like it went so quickly, but at the same time it feels like Lexi is even more mature than an eight-year-old should be. She is full of love, compassion, and so much wisdom. She still loves being a kid, and she decided on a Lego Friends pool party this year. We went to the new Olathe Community Center and she had a blast with her family and friends (friends not pictured for their privacy).

I made this cake with some Lego candy I ordered online. No Lego Friends were injured in the making of this cake.

 On her actual birthday she opened a few more gifts and decided on Red Robin for her birthday dinner.

I love  this eight-year-old to the moon and back.

Fun at Blackhoof Park

I wish we lived a little closer to this park, but we still try to make it over there a couple times a year. It is so much fun.

Jayvan is Three!

It is hard to believe that three years have passed since the day I first held this sweet boy in my arms.  He is the perfect balance of a rough & tumble and sweet & loving. He is smart, kind, energetic, and empathetic. He is the perfect completion for our family. God definitely blessed us with this amazing boy.

 

A Day With Thomas

A friend reminded me about this event and I'm so glad we went. The kids had a great time. It was a beautiful day for a train ride.
